i found the citristripper too. i think you've got a problem though, and maybe you found an answer to this -- linoleum is finished with a coat of polyurethane, so if you strip your hallway, you'll just have unfinished linoleum everywhere. and then you'll need more polyurethane...

Just rip it up,. and refinish the wood underneath! There is nothing like the beauty of polyurethaned chipboard.
