my favorite summer moment: walking past the chip shop on a 100 degree garbage day. yummy!
Further to Jonah's comment, the smell of Christopher Street when walking to the 1/9 around 6:15am on any given morning when it's still sweltering hot (ahem, summer of 1998): piss, puke and stale booze galore!
Or that could also be Last Exit at 4:45 am on any given night
A couple of other items:
- The mysterious shift of "eye contact" from the eyes to a level at least a foot south of there.
- In my case, an exponential increase in the number of times I'm asked something along the lines of "I like your tattoo" or "How far down does that tattoo go?" or "Lemme see that tattoo." All of which are met with the same response (or lack thereof).
Sitting in court in miami for the trial that refuses to end....
mmmm.....boob sweat.
